Every child matters, until they don’t... 💔

Vulnerable children in our communities are being medically neglected, often leaving those with extreme behaviors with nowhere to turn. This week, I spoke directly with the community paediatric team about my daughter Aurora’s case. Unfortunately, the outcome wasn’t positive. I was told she remains on a waiting list and there are no clear timeframes, despite waiting since March 2020 for intervention. This is well beyond the 18-week guideline, leaving her misunderstood, unseen, and unheard.

As a parent, it breaks my heart to watch her face daily challenges—both relating to her diagnosed ADHD and her undiagnosed autism. 💔💙

This is why I started #TheRoraProject — because suffering is happening, often in silence, and it’s never spoken about enough. We need to #ReduceTheStigma and normalize that it’s okay not to be okay when managing the needs of our little humans, especially when those needs are still unknown or only suspected.

No child should be left waiting, misunderstood, or unseen. Every child matters, always.
