Parent carer support
The RORA Project is dedicated to providing compassionate, accessible support to parent carers of children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Our initiative connects parents with a supportive community and offers personalized guidance to navigate the challenges of caring for neurodivergent children.
Join Our Online Community:
Become part of a welcoming, online space where like-minded parents can share experiences, find understanding, and build a supportive network. Our platform fosters connection, empathy, and mutual support among families facing similar journeys.
Confidential, One-on-One Support with Caroline Parker:
Access direct support from Caroline Parker, our newly appointed Parent Carer Support Leader. Caroline is DBS-checked and brings an extensive background in the care sector, including four years of coding experience working with adults with severe learning difficulties. Her current role focuses on family support, providing tailored, confidential guidance to parents of children with SEND who are out of education.
A Personal Touch from a Qualified, Neurodivergent Parent:
Caroline is profoundly qualified for this role and, as a neurodivergent mother diagnosed later in life, deeply understands the complexities of navigating neurodivergence within families. She is invaluable insight, empathy, and practical advice—making her a compassionate and knowledgeable guide for parents facing similar challenges.
Supporting Advocacy with Letter Templates:
To make advocating for your child's needs easier, we provide a selection of letter templates. These resources are designed to help parents communicate effectively with schools, local authorities, and other professionals, empowering you to advocate confidently for the support your child deserves.
Accessible, Affordable Support for All:
Our services are designed to be accessible and affordable, ensuring every parent carer can receive the advice and support they need. Whether you require guidance on reasonable adjustments, emotional support, or simply need someone who truly understands your experience, Caroline is here to help through our easy booking process.
Supporting Neurodivergent Assessments in Lincolnshire and Rutland:
All proceeds from the RORA Project contribute directly to our initiative to provide vital neurodivergent assessments for families most in need within the Lincolnshire and Rutland areas. We are committed to ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.
