Hitting the Wall, but Back in Action: The RORA Project's Next Chapter
After months of relentless dedication, I can honestly say I’ve hit the proverbial “runner’s wall” — but the important thing is, I’m back in the race. The past few months have been a whirlwind for The RORA Project. From intense planning and development to a busy half term, we’ve made incredible strides toward our vision. But just when we thought we were cruising smoothly, life threw us a curveball — a virus swept through, knocking us off course temporarily.
Despite the setbacks, I’m proud to say I’m now back, nearly full force, committed more than ever to our mission. Our ultimate goal remains clear: to find two dedicated trustees who share our passion and fit our profile to join our team. We need a team of four committed members — each bringing their unique strengths — to help us grow The RORA Project and expand our reach.
Our vision is ambitious but vital. By 2026, we aim to fund assessments for children in need within the Lincolnshire and Rutland districts. These assessments will help us provide crucial support to those who need it most. Plus, we’re excited to announce that our flagship project — the SEN Journal — is set to launch online this August, opening new doors for advocacy, education, and support.
Can You Help Make a Difference?
We’re reaching out to our community — to anyone who shares our passion and wants to make a real impact. Would you be willing to spare a small amount of your time, skills, or expertise to support The RORA Project? We’re looking for committed individuals to join us as trustees or team members.
Your commitment can be flexible and negotiable — what matters most is your passion and dedication. If you're interested, please consider completing our application form. Your support could be the catalyst that drives us closer to our goals and transforms the lives of children in need.
Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your belief in The RORA Project.
