This Week’s Reflection: The Struggles, the Gratitude, and the Road Ahead
This week has been one of the most challenging yet revealing moments in our journey. After months of intensive planning, I’ve quickly come to realize just how tough the world of business — whether for a nonprofit like ours or any other venture — really is. It’s a constant uphill battle, with one obstacle leading to another, and at times, it feels like there are twenty different tasks to juggle before we can even see the finish line.
The relentless pace and the weight of responsibilities are beginning to take their toll. It’s been exhausting, emotionally and physically, but through it all, I am reminded of the importance of resilience and the incredible support system around us.
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Caroline, our second trustee. Her unwavering support and dedication have been a beacon of hope during these tough times. We truly couldn’t do this without her.
However, as we push forward, we face some urgent needs. To stay on track with our plans — particularly the launch of the ultimate SEN journal — we need to fill at least one of the remaining two trustee positions by July. This is crucial if we are to meet our deadlines and make an impact in the lives of those we aim to serve.
