Meet the Team

meet the team of volunteers behind

The RORA Project

Founder

Chantelle Evans is a Neurodivergent adult navigating Neurodivergent parenting. she created The RORA project after a long winded battle to access healthcare and education for daughter Aurora and siblings. the lack of parent carer support impacted so much it was her dream to create a project specifically for families within our catchment area who may have had a similar journey.  Chantelles hobbies are sewing, blogging, family and her animals. Advocating became a fire, a passion i didnt know i needed whilst drowning in life i somehow managed to survive as a professional parent. Her goal is to create a inclusive space where we create community again.

Caroline K Parker

Family Support Lead & Trustee

Caz joined as a volunteer early in The RORA Projects journey and has been a consistent support. Caz is a Neurodivergent adult navigating parenting herself. Caz is ready to provide emotional and practical support to families in need within the Lincolnshire and Rutland district

When i asked caz what her hobbies & interests are, she said? Shr said...

My favourite things to do are spending time with my family including the dogs, singing and listening to music and gaming. I hope in 2026 to get outdoors more as I find it helps me. My interests are fidgets (the fidgety the better. Don’t even know if that’s a word but we’ll go with it.) and watching my safe shows repeatedly because they help me process and regulate.

When asked why she joined the project as a team member? She said....

My reason for joining the project is because I wasn’t diagnosed myself until I was 35 and looking back I was one of those kids who slipped through the net because I didn’t present in the ‘typical’ way and I don’t want families feeling like their child will be left without the correct support and guidance.

Zuzana B Hopton

welcome our new project Accountant zuzana who joined the team December 25. zuzana has a extensive history in accounting and has joined the team because she believes in the difference the rora project can provide. zuzana is a silent volunteer you may not hear much from but her role none the less is vital to the proper functioning of our community group and moving forwards into a CIO registration in the near future.

When i asked zuzana why she chose to volunteer her time and expertese to the project she said...

My upbringing didn’t offer the support one would have hoped for. Over time, that support came from people who knew nothing about my fights. They simply cared enough to withstand the storm.

TRP is one of the ways I try to pay that forward. I don’t truly understand what neurodivergent families go through—and I don’t need to.

I believe the real magic happens when our neurodivergent community feels supported by one another, and by “neuro-boring” people like myself.

I simply care enough ♡
