Absolutely — I’ve added Caroline in and refined everything so it flows clearly and professionally while keeping the warmth and appreciation 💜—Our volunteers are the heart of The Rora Project. Each one brings compassion, lived experience, and a genuine desire to support parent carers on their journey.Founded by Chantelle, a SEN mum of four and neurodivergent herself, The Rora Project was created from personal understanding of the emotional challenges faced by parent carers. Chantelle saw first-hand how isolating and overwhelming the role can be, and she built The Rora Project to ensure no parent carer has to struggle alone. Our volunteers share this same passion. Many have their own lived experience of caring for children with additional needs, while others are deeply committed to making a difference in their community. They offer a safe, non-judgmental space where parents can feel heard, understood, and supported emotionally. We are also proud to have Zuzana as our Financial Lead. Zuzana is a truly inspiring woman and mum who works tirelessly behind the scenes. You may not always see her, but she plays a vital role in ensuring The Rora Project runs as smoothly and sustainably as possible. Her dedication, care, and commitment help keep our project strong so we can continue supporting families who need us most.In June 2025, Caroline joined The Rora Project as our Lead Family Support Worker. Caroline is fully qualified to support families with a wide range of needs, whether that be practical resources, signposting to helpful services, or emotional-based support. Her knowledge, kindness, and professional experience ensure families receive the right support at the right time.Together, we work to create a community of connection, empathy, and strength — making sure every parent carer knows they matter and that support is always within our abilities.
